Thursday, December 3 - We are very pleased to announce that Nootrobox has accepted an additional $2 million in venture capital investment led by Andreessen Horowitz. The new capital will allow us to accelerate clinical research and development on nootropics, to double down on our manufacturing and supply chain innovation, and to continue building a world class team across all disciplines of medicine, software, and product manufacturing.

As part of the investment, we’ll be working closely with Chris Dixon, general partner at Andreessen Horowitz, and the broader Andreessen team. We’re also excited to work with other participants in the round including Dr. Connie Chen, co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Vida Health; Kevin Chou, founder and CEO of Kabam; Hiten Shah, founder of Kissmetrics; and Jeff Weiser, SVP of Beachbody. This round brings our total equity financing to date to $2.57 million.

The trust our community and our investors have placed in us is humbling, and we’re motivated more than ever to double-down on our momentum as the foremost nootropics company in the world. We’ve been working relentlessly on the definitive set of biohacking products and tools, and we can’t wait to delight you all with them. Our team consists of some of the leading operators, thinkers, and academics in the space. If the notion of human enhancement, cognition modulation, and biohacking is exciting to you, reach out. We may have a place for you at Nootrobox.

— Geoff, Michael, and the Nootrobox Team.
